Ricky Skaggs And Kentucky Thunder
Kentucky Thunder或Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder是與Ricky Skaggs共組表演的樂團。Ricky Skaggs是位美國鄉村和藍草音樂歌手、音樂家、創作者和作曲家，從小就展現他的音樂天賦。在他5歲時從他父親那拿到曼陀林(mandolin)後就開始玩音樂，6歲時就與歌手Bill Monroe在同舞台上演湊曼陀林。Ricky最初是一位藍草音樂家，80年代轉向主流鄉村音樂，1990年至2000年間回歸藍草。自1996年以來，Ricky陸續發行了數張藍草音樂專輯，並同樂隊Kentucky Thunder巡迴演出。
Ricky Skaggs是團體的主唱，表演曼陀林，與其樂團Kentucky Thunder拿過好幾次的國際蘭草音樂協會年度之最佳樂器組合獎，並獲得7次葛萊美獎殊榮。
Kentucky Thunder樂團目前的陣容有：小提琴Andy Leftwich、吉他Cody Kilby、節奏吉他和人聲合唱Paul Brewster、班卓琴Justin Moses、貝斯手Scott Mulvahill、節奏吉他及聲樂男中音Ed Farris。

專輯Honoring the fathers of bluegrass: tribute to 1946 and 1947是Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder於2008年2月發行，並為他們於2009年獲得葛萊美獎第51屆「最佳藍草音樂專輯」獎。這張專輯是對藍草音樂之父Bill Monroe，以及其他藍草音樂的先驅者，包括Lester Flatt和 Earl Scruggs的表達敬意之專輯。而年齡高達85歲的Earl Scruggs也在這張專輯客串演出。
